I have to thank my best friend Seb for this wedding - he pointed his friends Alex & Mia here. I'd met Alex a handful of times before and we always got on really well (before I was a full time professional). Seb offered a gentle reminder. One phone call later (around Christmas time) and it was all set.
Little did I know just how fantastic the day would turn out to be. It started with the girls. Mia and her sisters (and friends) were such good fun! As the day went on I got to meet the entire families and friends (some I already knew), and it just got better and better. Alex and his mates are all awesome. Stand up genuine guys. I spent some (very interesting) time talking to Mia's father, Chris. We got on like a house on fire. We have the same principles behind our businesses: operate from the heart, for the benefit of others. We could talk for hours! He very kindly wrote this fantastic review, of which I am very much humbled.
What an amazingly fun and and vibrant day. This wedding epitomises what life is about - shared love and fun!
Quendon Hall, Essex, is a beautiful wedding venue. The days leading up to the wedding had been a tad wet. On the day we got some sun!
Sarah Catherall was a pleasure to spend time with, and did a fantastic job with Mia's hair and make-up
Mia and her father Chris go through the ceremony structure
Mia's sister, Sadie, helps mum with her makeup
Time to go and visit Alex, who is getting ready in the cottages opposite Quendon Hall (on site)
Alex's brother lends a helping hand...
Back to the girls and Mia is having her final make-up touches applied, getting ready to hop into her dress!
The girls have a dance and a sing before the ceremony - the perfect way to keep things relaxed and fun!
And before we knew it, it's time...
Outside for some celebratory drinks, congratulations and hugs...
The formals followed the bride and groom session, which was cut short by some rain! Thankfully, the gorgeous ceremony room was cleared...
The wine, which took a fairly long time to choose (between Alex and his father), was absolutely fantastic! It didn't last long...
Take your bets please! How long was will the speeches last? The winner was over 1:30 mins. You read that right, they were quite long!
Chris engaged all the guests with his opening speech - great fun!
Time to party!
The photo booth was a big hit, with the added bonus of props!
A fantastic wedding at Quendon Hall. Wonderful venue, fantastic couple, family and guests. Awesome!
